HI, I'MÂ DR. DENISE
Chiropractic Neurologist, mother, and passionate advocate for whole-person healing. My mission is to help create the conditions for healing to restore communication between the brain and body.
Looking back, I can see now how every part of my journey was shaping the work I would eventually be called to do.
I struggled with chronic migraines and recurring sinus infections. My mother took me to countless providers in search of answers, but nothing seemed to bring relief.
At 14 years old, she brought me to a chiropractor as a last hope.
I vividly remember walking into that office in significant discomfort (nauseated, overwhelmed, and in the midst of a migraine) and leaving with a sense of optimism that I might actually get my life back. With consistent chiropractic care over the following year, my symptoms gradually resolved, and something within me began to shift.
That experience didnât just change how I felt in my body; it changed the direction of my life.
It sparked a deep desire to understand how the body heals and led me to pursue a career in chiropractic care, with a heart to offer others the same sense of hope and relief I had experienced. In 2011, I opened a family practice, initially focused on helping others find relief from similar physical challenges.
Â
Passionate about helping others
Over time, however, my understanding of healing began to deepen in ways I could not have anticipated at the start of my career. While I initially focused on helping patients find relief from physical symptoms, I began to notice that lasting change often required looking beyond the structure of the spine alone. Many individuals were doing everything âright,â yet still struggling with recurring or unresolved symptoms.
Â
I knew there had to be an explanation, and I was not going to quit until I found it.
As a health care provider and parent, I initially felt helpless! What if one of my young children experienced something similar. That’s when it dawned on me, I needed to advance my doctorate degree and immerse myself in studying clinical neuroscience and brain injury. This journey led to 7 years of post-doctorate training with world-renowned Carrick Institute, Kharrazian Institute, Interdisciplinary Association of Functional Neurosciences & Rehabilitation, and the Brain Injury Association of America. During that time, I had the incredible opportunity to work at Project Walk Ability Center in Stratham, NH where I treated many individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries as well as a multitude of other neurological conditions.
Something New Hampshire Really Needed.
I have seen significant improvements in many patients that received a comprehensive chiropractic brain-based approach to resolving their symptoms and achieving improved health and wellbeing.
But New Hampshire residents did not have a center exclusively providing brain-based family chiropractic care and neurological wellness - until now!
Â
I'm on a mission
I have had success helping patients decrease frequency and duration of their headaches, neck and back pain, decrease their dizziness and vertigo, improve their memory and focus, improve their balance, stability and gait, and so much more.
If you have symptoms that have not improved despite your best efforts with other care providers, let's talk!Â
